Kai Bradford is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Communication at UVU, with a concentration in Video Games. Originally from Nebraska, Kai transferred to UVU after completing his Associate's degree in Project Management. His academic interests lie at the intersection of communication, media, and gaming, and upon earning his degree, he intends to continue his education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication and Video Games, where he hopes to further explore these fields.
Kai is also developing a research project that examines the relationship between video game playing and its effects on religious identity and religiosity among young adult members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This work reflects his interest in understanding how media and technology shape personal and social identities, particularly concerning faith and community.
In addition to his academic work, Kai is a passionate hobbyist game designer with a creative portfolio that spans card games, board games, and video games.
